"Loading Please Wait"

Installed vmware of dimdim 4.5 on fusion.

Installs fine, boots fine, but I cannot join a meeting or start one because I get the "Loading please wait" page and nothing ever loads.

Not a network issue, because Im running the server on my laptop via fusion, and "surfing" to it from my regular desktop via IP.

My desktop is OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
Browsers tried: Safari 4, Firefox 3.5.3, Internet Explorer (all versions)

Yes, I see that this question has been posted previously, unfortunately, those cries for help have gone unanswered.

I pessimistically feel mine will as well.

You gotta love open source, you definitely get what you pay for.
